During this time of COVID-19, most of our jobs have become more complex, and we all have had to quickly adapt to new situations. As we continue to conquer these new challenges, I want to take time to recognize both our customers and employees that are going above and beyond and truly demonstrating how “print is essential.”
First, I would like to thank our customers, who are busy producing the essential materials that fill up our grocery stores, pharmacies, doctors’ offices and beyond. With your “around the clock” work, we can refill store shelves and warehouses – ensuring that food and products are in the hands of consumers everywhere.
There are also many printers who are utilizing their existing equipment and resources to create masks, face shields, and even hospital beds. Your creativity and drive to adapt and contribute to the world is awe-inspiring.
We, at Heidelberg, are here to support you during this challenging time. While all of our employees are playing an important role in supporting you, I would like to send special appreciation to our service technicians, who are continuing to travel to customer sites to ensure that our customers keep printing. Beyond visiting customer sites, we also continue to serve our customers virtually to help make sure they get the equipment, parts and consumables that they need to stay running. Our warehouses and technical assistance are still operating regularly, and we can receive orders via our eShop or field calls through (800) 437-7388.
